The New Forest Show (or the New Forest and Hampshire County Show to give it its correct title) is an annual extravaganza held on a 230 acre parkland site just outside Brockenhurst in the New Forest. This year’s show is fast approaching, taking place as it does on July 28th, 29th and 30th.

We are lucky enough to be based in this same beautiful part of the country, and attend the Show every year to exhibit our wares. “How exciting” I hear you say, “Let’s go to the New Forest Show and look at Septic Tanks and Sewage Treatment Plants, maybe the odd pumpstation for extra interest”

Well, while you are there casting a cursory glance at our tanks and helping yourself to a lolly to suck on your way round, call in at one of the other myriad of trade stands and stalls, or stop at the Exhibition ring and watch the dog agility, show jumping or heavy horses to mention but a few of the many live classes happening over the 3 days. The New Forest Show is also the place to go to see the best cows, bulls and sheep that the area has to offer being paraded around the ring by their proud owners, and all manner of farm animals of varying numbers of legs – and of course there are the dogs in all classes from best of breed to scruffiest!

Stand and admire the skill of the blacksmiths at work or marvel at the many exhibits of paintings and flower decorations on show – and of course when you have had enough there is always the beer tent to explore!

If you do pass by our stand on your way to the Women’s Institute tent for a jar of jam or a home-made cake, you may be interested to see what a septic tank looks like out of the ground – or be amazed at how much a sewage treatment plant resembles a steam engine until it gets buried in the ground with only it’s little inspection cover visible.

No matter what your reason for visiting, do come along and see us. It is always nice to meet our customers from days gone by, and hopefully some new customers too – keep one of our flyers as you never know when you might need us!
